New Resources For LPIC1 Exam

Hi, all. I was new user to linux two weeks ago, but now i try to figure out ACL and etc. Before 7.03.2015 i had no prior experience with linux. I want to attend at next RHCSA exam (approx. 20th of april). I have official training books from Red Hat (RH124) and "RHCSA training live sessions" video set by Pearson, inc. Can i pass RHCSA exam? I don't plan to attend in any training, only self-study. What do you think? Or do you offer any special method to prepare for exam faster except paid trainings? Would be better if answers are by exam-takers or who passed.

PS: I have 3 years of experience in programming, especially C, C# and some other PLs.

I am appearing for RHCSA exam next week. I want to ask a simple question. CAN I DELETE FIREWALL RULE in RHCSA exam.

# service iptables stop
# iptables -F
# service iptables save


Any tips/suggestion for RHCSA exam would be really appreciated.

finished my linux+ and want to move on to some red hat training...

so i found on the red hat site:

that:
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Exam (EX200).

looks like the entry level certification, and an obvious place to start...

i want to self study and have been googling but the information im finding is at least 4 to 6 years old...

has anybody self studied this? i would think so as red hat training is pretty pricey...

can anybody recommend a good study guide or video set or anything that is up to date and may help pass the exam

Hello sir, i want your help to know that in order to add security to ZRP which are the files where we have to make the modifications for encryption, digital signature etc.. as i have very less knowledge regarding so plz help me from the basic level as what should be done in SZRP.

I am preparing to take my EX200 exam for red hat Linux ver 6.X. My questions a number one, what are the main differences between version 6.X and 7.X ? and number two, what are some of the tricks I should look for?

I believe this belongs in here (newbie) and not in Networking.

I'm completely starting out with networking. I have done some research, but I never ran networking commands in a serious way.

Is there an all purpose beginner guide to getting around a network, and learning basic troubleshooting skills? I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 in VirtualBox running on Windows 7 Professional.

I would like to get an understanding of statistics, how to map out my home network and networks I connect to and so on. So I'm interested in any help, any tips and etc.

I'm extremely new to the Unix platform. I'm looking to find good documentation to get me started on this platform so I can perform general Administrative tasks and install and maintain software the same way I would on a Windows server. Can anyone recommend any good resources?

I recently installed elementaryOS and everything was working fine until I changed the drivers in the Additional Drivers section.
I then tried changing back to the drivers previously used and others but to no avail. I can see the menu bar at the top and run applications, but the whole desktop just appears black.

How can I fix this issue?

I just registered, activated the account, logged out and back in and edited my profile. Then, I was taken to introduce myself. I wrote a message, clicked on "Preview Post" and it looks OK, so I clicked on "Submit New Thread". I get no errors. It just takes me back to the previous screen, my post is not there and it tells me that the system detects I have never posted anything. Why? I'm hoping this one message will go through.
