Pan1? After googling it, I found out that it has to do with bluetooth. But I am not working with bluetooth right now! What is going on. Should I switch it off?
I have a own compilation of 3.16.2 kernel working fine in my pavilion 14, it is working fine, but the "Ralink corp. RT3290" driver for bluetooth dont is configured, so, I try to compile a new stabtle version, first the 3.16.3 and now the 3.18.3, but it do not boot, what I have to do to get it work?

Hello everybody,
I am seeking help regarding sharing internet connection. I would be greatful.
I have;
A Laptop : Samsung RV509, i3, 300GB HDD, 3GB Ram, Dual boot Windows7 & LM 17 cinnamon 32bit. WiFi & Bluetooth available.
A Desktop PC : Celeron CPU 2.4GHZ, 40 GB HDD, 1GB RAM, LiveUSB-LM 17 cinnamon 32bit, No WiFi hardware available, No Bluetooth hardware available.
A mobile phone : Nokia Asha 500, WiFi & Bluetooth available.
An old USB data cable: with which the mobile phone can be connected to the computers. I have successfully connected and transfered data back & forth, and also shared/connected Mobile-Broadband-internet to both Laptop and Desktop.
What I have been doing now is; I have an internet connection to my Laptop with an external modem and Ethernet. Its working fine. I have an unlimited plan and so I want to share this internet connection on the mobile phone too; instead of incuring extra cost by connecting to the internet directly through the phone. I am successful at that. I can share this internet connection on my phone through WiFi.
Now, what I want to do is; without buying any extra hardware, to share this same internet connection on my Desktop PC, too.
What I tried is; I searched the web, but didn't find any solution. Now I am here. Please kindly help me.
Thank you & Regards
Anil
I am very new to Linux but I want to be able to have Ubuntu set up so that whenever a new file is added via Dropbox to a folder it will automatically print to multiple Bluetooth printers. Is this difficult? Any advice? Thanks guys!

i have windows 8.1 and ubuntu 14.04 ....now wen i try to access a drive of windows in ubuntu it says failed to mount.
then i used "sudo ntfsfix /dev/sda4" for mounting the drives ......it worked for all drives except the E drive (not the system drive).
it gives error windows is hibernated , shutdown windows.
I shutdown my windows properly but still that particular drive refuses to mount..
any solns?
I have windows 7 laptop, Dell. I downloaded the newest edition of Ubuntu (Twice)to see if it would install and dual boot beside Windows 7. Unsucessful on several attempts. Once I reboot the computer it will give ma a choice of 7 or Ubuntu. I decide on Ubuntu it starts to boot into Ubuntu than a black screen with all types of Kernel error codes that i'm unfamilur with. one is---(1.292618) kernel panic-not syncing: no working init found.
Try passing init option to Kernel (see Linux Documentation/init.txt for guidance..
I am not sure what all this means any help would be appreactiated...

Greetings All,
I'm NEW to Linux 13.10. I'm getting a error message on start up.
In the past, I would just press S to skip mounting. That is NOT
working any more.
Error Message : An error occurred while mounting/mnt/3F3C-1AF6.
Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery
Is there a command, that I can use to continue to boot or at
least find out what is wrong with my Ubuntu 13.10?
When I press S or M .... nothing happens.
Thanks in advance!
PEACE to ALL .... MJ
