hi all,
Okay,
I did it, I over-restricted outlook (yes, still have that...) by using the tools meny-page info of that page and disallowing cookies...
I can log in from an other box, so it's the settings on my main box...
Any idead on how to reset some things? Thanks
Thor
Edit - perhaps for clarity, the login page is not the issue, the mailpage is, but, since hotmail does not allow me to access that page (because I disallow cookies) - I cannot reset the permissions. All I need to figure out is how to reset these permissions...
Solved - requires re-enabling the accepting ogf cookies, Mozilla has a page on it too
->Need to upload a file from Unix box(Putty) to a website.
->Tried Wget and curl to upload a file to that website, when ever i am trying to fire the command its redirecting to Login page.
->for this purpose i have used cookies option to pass the Login information next time, but its giving empty cookie file and returning entire HTML page.
->used various options like redirecting, load cookies, for wget and curl, but everything is going in vain.
->Normally browser login process for that website is :
1.Login page www.example1.com/login and provide username and password
2.redirected to another URL www.example2.asp and after clicking on a folder icon.
3.it is getting redirected to another URL www.example3.com/folders.do?id=12433434324
i have to upload the file in the third URL and to a particular folder in that page, folders are containing different ids.
Please share your knowledge on this and provide solution as best as you can ,thanks

Hey all,
I've got an HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook that's been like a good friend to me in the past, but hasn't been running as well as it used to. I decided to move on to something new that I knew would work - some form of Linux. I chose Lubuntu, as I had heard so many good things about it and wouldn't need to run loads of processes.
I ran through the installer from a flash drive and installed Lubuntu 14.04 onto my machine, and was then prompted to reboot. Now I'm stuck on the Gnu Grub page, where *Ubuntu is listed instead of *Lubuntu. Whenever I hit Ubuntu to start, screen cuts to black, I see the HP logo and BIOS login note, and am dropped back in front of the Grub page. This is my first true experience with the Linux kernel (I've played with Raspbian).
Does anyone have any insight as to what's going wrong? I haven't yet been able to login and am unsure regarding where to go.
Thanks

Hi,
I have a CentOS 6 machine [Machine X], which I connect to using a putty client or from another CentOS 6 machine.
Now, the machine X intermittently sends a connection reset message to all SSH sessions -
Code:
Read from remote host 1.1.1.1: Connection reset by peer
Connection to 1.1.1.1 closed.
I have switched off the firewall on the machine & there are no session timeout values set.
How do I find out what is causing this issue?
Thanks
Bhushan
When I went to check my email this morning, there was a new (gigantic) ad bar at the top of my gmail page. I tried to see if there was any mention of it on google, and noticed that an even more gigantic ad bar appeared at the top of each search result. The ad bar has "ad by: Media Player" in one corner, but no option to close it. I've restarted my computer, and checked to make sure my system updates were current. I've scanned my home directory with ClamTK, and nothing comes up. I've tried to download a free trial of Bitdefender (I thought this was free, but it isn't showing up in the package repository any more, so maybe not?) but whenever I try to access the Bitdefender home page or the home page of any other antivirus scanner, I get a giant malware-y looking ad page that says "YOUR COMPUTER MAY HAVE A VIRUS" with a phone number to call for help. I have not called the number. I'm very concerned now. I want to do a full system scan, but ClamTK doesn't appear to have that capability, and I don't know how to download another antivirus program safely with the ad blocking my access to the antivirus websites. Can someone help me please?
I'm running Mint 13 Maya/Cinnamon. I'm using Firefox as my browser. I did check to see if there were other reports of this problem with Firefox or Google, but couldn't find anything current.
I need to be able to create new user accounts and make sure they're forced to reset their password upon first login, also if they don't log in within 4 days of the account creation their account must automatically lock. How do I accomplish this?
thank you.
