Hello guys.
I'm using this library (downloaded at http://wavelet2d.sourceforge.net/). I found out that this library is only working on 32bit systems (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ol-4175543660/).
Now I need to work with the library on a 64 system. I thought libraries are just a group of pure object codes so I honestly didn't expect to face this kind of problems.
If you could help me understand why this is and how I can make 64bit libraries from the same source codes that made the 32bit library (perhaps where I should more look into or something, I'm NOT asking you for 100% answers if I'm annoying you by any means), then that would be great.
I'd appreciate your help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Is there a command / set of commands that I can use that can show me which library files are updated after something has been installed on my system?
I have an installer which states "Library files updated" but I can see now evidence of which files have actually been modified.
This is causing some issues in the operation of the system.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to configure (install and run) a program on Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 4 (Nahant Update 7). The last section in my failing configure log file is:

I keep my Music on a USB flash drive. I do not have room on my laptop to store my mp3 library so this is not an option. Whenever, I remove the flash drive (or restart my computer, i think) my music player (rhythmbox currently) forgets where the music is stored. I have to go through reimporting my whole music library which is time consuming and tedious. I imagine that my music player can't find the files because the flash drive gets mapped to a different mount point or something after restarting or removing the drive.
TL;DR
How can I setup my laptop so that my music player can find my music library on a usb flash drive without needing to constantly re-import my library?
Also, I have the same question to syncing to cloud storage. How can I automatically sync flash storage to the cloud?
Hello,
i need to install NS2 version 2.26 with RSVP-TE patch to do some MPLS simulations.
I'm trying on fedora 8 and when compiling i am getting this error

for common problems and bug fixes.
All X11 packages are installed (libX11-devel libXext-devel libXau-devel libXmu-devel)
Installed CentOS 3.9 (it seems NS2 2.26 installs well on this distro) but when trying to get packages with yum seems the repo is not working anymore.
If any one could help to solve the problem of installation i would greatly appreciate
I'm in the need of building a script to clean up my media library. I've been PVR'ing for years now and it's time to clean things up. For example, my TV Shows are saved as such:
/media/storage/Show Name/Season 1/Show Name - S01E01 - Episode Name.mp4
Over the years I've created a bunch of subdirectories further than that and I want to go through and clean those out. For example, the following directory might exist:
/media/storage/Show Name/Season 1/subtitles
If I use the find command, with -type d and -maxdepth 4, I have discovered that the subdirectory I want to delete is in the 4th level. There should be nothing valid in the 4th level and okay to delete.
I don't really know where to start. I tried using the find command with -mindepth 4 but that doesn't seem to work as I would expect. Basically, I want to scan through the library, then I want to test to make sure that the directory isn't "Season XX" and if it is a subdirectory within Season X then I would like to delete that subdirectory.
Any ideas how I can accomplish this?
FYI: I'm using Korrora 21 with BASH.

I am on a x86_64 platform in Ubuntu 14. However, I would like to build for a 32-bit linux platform. I run into the following issue when I try to build using make:
Code:
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.9/../../../libsndfile.so when searching for -lsndfile
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.so when searching for -lsndfile
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.a when searching for -lsndfile
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libsndfile.so when searching for -lsndfile
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsndfile
It seems like I am getting this error because I don't have the 32-bit libraries. I could not find anywhere online where I could directly procure the 32-bit version of the library. I tried to follow the steps he
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs...ibsndfile.html
but instead specifying the build for the configure command:
Code:
./configure --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu --disable-static && make
But that didn't help either.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any pointers on what I could try? Would I have to create a subdirectory like /usr/lib32/ and move libraries around, perhaps?
I would be grateful for any tips you could provide me. Thanks!

Can someome please help me on this. Will be very thankful.
